Mario Botta for Alias, 1985, Italy 

The Quinta chair, designed by the contemporary architect Mario Botta is the fifth of a series he did for Alias. Quinta, means ‘fifth’, and was one of his most famous designs along with the Seconda, both showcased at the MoMa. Constructed with a steel-rod frame and perforated sheet steel seat and curved back. Quinta is now out of production.
